Extracurricular Activities
At CBCS learning occurs in the classroom, on field trips, in the music hall, and in the art room. We are able to offer many opportunities for all our students to learn.
Community Baptist Christian School was founded by Pastor Douglas Jackson as a ministry of Community Baptist Church.
Our Founding Church
In response to the biblical admonition for families to bring up children in the knowledge of the Lord, CBCS provides an education strong in academics while seeking to reinforce Christian principles within each student to help them have a life-long commitment to serve Christ in all areas of life including the local church.

We offer an education based on Biblical principles. True success is found when grounded in God’s Word, and the staff and teachers at CBCS are able to give a Christian perspective to the education they teach.
Personalized Education
CBCS has the unique opportunity as a small Christian school to provide education that can be personalized to the individual. Small classrooms enable students and teachers to work one-on-one with each other.
Competitive Athletics
We provide various opportunities for students to enjoy extra-curricular activities including playing sports such as soccer, golf, basketball and volleyball. Students also have the opportunity to participate in various musical activities, including MACS competitions and Christmas programs.
